 The Ladies of Action Pistol

 Diablo Action Pistol is interested in hearing from the ladies of our membership that are interested in the game of Practical Shooting or Action Pistol.

DAP will be hosting a All Ladies Orientation Class for its action pistol safety course and is looking for interested women to come out and give their hand a try at Action Pistol. We have been given some feedback that perhaps the ladies might come out and shoot more often if they didn’t feel that they have to perform at some set level. One possible solution is to have a ladies only class.

As with normal action pistol classes, the sport is generally not for the new gun owners but for those ladies who are comfortable in shooting and handling their gun(s).

We arent trying discourage anyone but we do want to be first and foremost… Safe.

 Anyone considering class should be familiar with their firearm.

 If you are interested in signing up for a ladies only safety class please drop an email to Class@DiabloActionPistol.com for more information. Someone will get right back to you on needed equipment and proficiencies.

  Our end goal is for the ladies to then run through a safety class and then squad together as much as possible at normally held competitions going forward and having fun amongst each other.

 Once we receive decent interest we will announce the class date, but as a guesstimate if 10 or so ladies sign up its a go!

Well the Diablo Rod and Gun Club purchased a vending machine for the Hunter Education building and placed it in class room A.

The vending machine will have requested items from heavy users but for the most part there will be something for everyone in the machine. If youd like something in particular and dont see an item selling, let Christine know what youd like to see… there are NO promises but she wants things to sell in that machine so chances might be good.

For now prices will be normal but since this is a service that the club is offering to its membership Id expect the prices for at least sodas to drop. There is also a credit card reader thats working now and the machine take ones and five dollar bills!
